This is quite a long post for AJ and Adelaide’s gorgeous wedding last month, but as a photographer that strives to be storyteller, there were so many stories to tell on their wedding day that I mostly just chose not to leave too many of them out of this post! Sooo, here we go!
(Oh, but wait! Even now, there a handful of moments at every wedding that, when given the proper amount of time, never fail to move me. The first dance between the bride and groom is one of those moments. Lovely light + gorgeous bride and groom, but then you go and add music? Well, that just takes it to a whole new level…
For that reason, Spotify-users can click the box below, which is embedded with the song to which AJ and Adelaide had their first dance. Go ahead and listen! You’ll like it.)
Don’t have Spotify? Click here to go get it and then come back. It’s free! And we’ll wait for you.
This sweet bride and groom chose to celebrate not just their own marriage at their reception, but also that of the people they love. They pulled almost a dozen couples up to dance to songs that meant something to each couple. Siblings, Parents, Aunts and Uncles… It was a shockingly generous gesture, refreshing in it’s selflessness, that lit the entire reception with a moving perspective on the joy that can be marriage at any age and stage in life.
Thank you, AJ and Adelaide, for allowing me the honor of telling the story of your wedding day via images.
